I suck at html too :D only reason i know a few basic codes is because i picked up on some stuff when i was building my site with Frontpage and doing some tags here at lj :) you'll get a hang of the basics in not time!xxx
about the dj vid i really don't know how to create a link . if you wanna try- go to my lj an dlook through the comments; or go to stargate talkers and look through the comments. sorry for not being able to help but i'm afraid of committing a blunder
